How to add cashiers and register staff wristbands in iControl
Please remember to send to tills once you have completed the process. Sometimes an initial load and cashier send are necessary for new added users. If you have any troubles please contact the support team.
Step 1: Open iControl and click "setup" on the left hand side of the screen.
Step 2: Click Cashiers and Users in the bottom left of your screen.
Step 3: Search for the staff member you would like to edit and double click on their name (this is if the staff member is already in the system. If not, skip to step 5 below please). The image below is what is shown after you have double clicked their name.
Step 4: Click add in the bottom left of your screen, and then enter the wristband number. Then where there is the dropdown menu for "Logon Type" select "W" for wristband. You will notice that the screenshot has the letter K, as I have not changed it myself. It is important that you change it to W for wristbands.
This will add a wristband to an existing user. To add a user, look below.
Step 5: Adding a user is completed by clicking "Add" in the top left of your screen. Once you have clicked add, three options will appear. Select which functionality you would like for the staff member to have. In this instance, I have assumed that everyone apart from your managers and the owner will be only using the tills. After you have selected your functionality, the menu to enter the staff members details will appear. From here, registering the wristband is similar to above (click add in the bottom left, and enter the wristband code).
Please also remember to select "W" for wristband when adding a new user.
